Communities For A Lifetime
Since the fall of 2005, Bradley J.
Butcher, AIA has been a member of the Otsego County
- Communities For A Lifetime Assessment Team. Brad, together
with a group of professionals and community members,
under the guidance of the Michigan State University
Extension, has developed an assessment tool for use
by communities across Michigan to evaluate the
quality of life presented to their senior
population. As a part of this committee, Brad
has taken great interest in the growing demographic
across America, the aging Baby Boomer generation.
This interest has been fueled by the generation's
interest in accommodating an Aging in Place effort
that permits older adults to stay in their homes and
home communities longer in life.
