Grand Opening Ceremony
June 2006 - The new Dining Facility opens its doors and dining room to the Air National Guardsmen and women at Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center. This $7MM project includes dining for 50-300 people, a separate Billeting and Services facility, and a Roads and Grounds Vehicle Storage Building. Ribbon cutting ceremony held August 14th was attended by base dignitaries and Sen. Carl Levin (see photo below).
